What is staining
Staining is to apply a dark coat of colour varnish to the parquet after the clear coat varnishing process. This will result in the parquet floor tone being darker than the original wood tone. Additional charges applies for staining service.- What is the differences between using oil based and water based varnish
The main difference is water based varnish is an almost odor-free product and do not leave a strong smell unlike oil-based varnish. Drying time is also shorter for water based varnish – approx 2 to 3 hours compared with oil base – approx 4 to 6 hours. Additional charges applies for choosing a water based varnish.
